  Someone commented that parking was a breeze, not for me. Parking was limited. The parking was small, maybe because there was construction in operation next lot over. I was able to park facing the open field. The open field looked nice to me, but I thought about the possibility of rats and other vermins. The store was promoting their grand opening. The store was very clean, but I believe the products were not new or fresh. Most items had dust on the lids. (Whatever happened to the days when items were periodically dusted and items were turned over?) The items weren't turned over. But this was supposed to be a grand opening. Shouldn't the items on the shelves be brand new? Makes me wonder if the items at this location on Mount Vernon Ave, Bakersfield, CA were over stock products from another location. Just saying... Finally what ticked me off is that they didn't have the item I was in need of, so anyway, I went ahead a bought one item that I can hold in my hand. A small bottle of hot sauce I held in my hand. I passed a store clerk, or some type of employee we did not make eye contact, but out of my side view I could tell he was watching my every move, because when I passed him, he turned completely around as if he thought I was going to make a dash out the door. Instead, I was making my way to the express check out lane. I understand he must do his job and watch if people are a stealing, but why make your customer(s) uncomfortable to the point I will not shop there anymore. Good store for bulk items, but I will take my money and give it to Walmart right across the street. If I wanted to steal a bottle of hot sauce I would have placed it in my pocket and walk out. I would not have it in my hand and walk over to the check out lane. Nope. Not shopping there anymore.
